Day Hike - Twin Falls

Come enjoy an afternoon hike at Twin Falls in Olallie State Park, located a few miles east of North Bend. This is a moderate, 3-mile round trip journey with just 500 ft. in elevation gain. This popular trail goes along the South Fork Snoqualmie River with a short side trip to scenic waterfalls. We will briefly stop about half-way at a lower vantage point, and then hike to the top of the falls for another rest before returning.

  • Easy/Moderate
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 3.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 500 ft
  • Pace: 2 mph

We will meet at the Twin Falls Trailhead at 1:00pm. Discover Pass required. Parking can be limited on nice days, though less so during the week.

Twin Falls is not a lengthy hike, but there are two moderate climbing sections (and stairs). To be sure you'll have fun on this hike you should have completed at least one recent hike of 3 miles or more at a 2mph pace. Much of the hike is under the tree canopy, but plan for rain and mud! Pre-check the local weather forecast before the hike. Wear a mask at the beginning and when passing other hikers.
