6:00 AM at Tibbett's valley park
Meeting place: Issaquah, Tibbetts Valley Park, take I-90 east, exit 15, go right (onto 17th, rt. 900), go straight south 3 blocks, turn left on Newport Way, go a short block east and turn right into the parking lot. Please meet in Issaquah at 6am to carpool -- since I'm leading the same hike the day before, I'll stay out there overnight and meet everyone at the trailhead. Directions to the trailhead from the meeting place: Continue on I-90 east, take exit 80, turn left (north), follow signs to roslyn (through 2 roundabouts). Proceed through Roslyn on north route 903, continue north and stay on the main road. The road becomes gravel briefly in one place where it was washed out. At some point the road narrows and goes through a campground, then there is a Y -- the left is under construction (bridge) -- take the right which is a dirt road. Keep on the main road, going north, and park at the road's end, where the TrailHead is. A NW Forest Pass (parking) is required.
