Trip will initially open to Tacoma Branch Conditioning Hiking Students. Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers, based on availability, 7-10 days prior to date of the hike.
This is mainly an in-forest hike, helpfully with some in-bloom wild Rhododendrons along the trail. We will also have an opportunity to visit a 1950's airplane crash site.
Meeting location information will be sent to registered participants.
We will meet at the Tacoma Community College Transit Center, located at the corner of S 19th Street and Pearl, at 7:00 AM. We will then drive to the trailhead We will be traveling on a dirt Forest Service road.
