There are 3 options for parking: There are 2 or 3 spots 50 yards up 5 Mile Rd that are reachable by a low-clearance car, high-clearance vehicles have spots a little bit further up the road, park on hwy 97 near the intersection, or there is an expanded shoulder for parking 150 yards down/north the road. 

One suggestion for carpooling is Preston Park n Ride (exit 22 on I-90) at 6:30 AM.
