Day Hike - Trap Lake

This hike is on the Tunnel Creek trail to Hope Lake , then on the PCT to a short trail accessing Trap Lake. There are views and Fall colors on the route.

We will meet at the trail head 8:15 am . There will be two car pool sites . The first is Green Lake Park and Ride , North of 65th under the Freeway . We will meet there  at 6:00 am and leaving for the Smoke Stack site in Monroe at 6:15 am . The smoke stack Park and Ride hikers will meet there at 6:45 am and leaving for the trail head at 7:00 am . The smoke stack is located on North Ann street , a right turn off Hwy 2 in Monroe. Drive Hwy 2 , 12 miles past Skykomish , turning right onto FR 6095 , located just after crossing the Tunnel Creek Bridge at a hairpin turn. Follow FR 6095 for 1.2 miles , avoiding side roads , to a Y intersection. Bear left , coming to the trail head in .1 mile .
