Saturday July 29. Social paced moderate hike in Mt Rainer National Park. If you have not been before, this is a pleasant easy going hike, starting at Mowich lake, first through forest to reach scenic Eunice Lake, then a brisk climb up to the Tolmie Peak lookout above the lake, for some excellent and unique views of the mountain! Also, there may still be some wild flowers left along the trail to see. We will have lunch at the lookout. 1,300 elevation gain in, 300 out. 6.5 miles RT. Mt Rainier West(GT). Book, 50 Hikes in Mt. Rainier National Park. Meet at 10:00 am. at the new Federal Way Transit Center, in the west side of the lower level of the parking garage (Take far left lane Transit exits off I-5, proceed west through the round-about).
