Start Daylight Saving Time with a hike in the forest and views of two lakes.

  • Sun, Mar 10, 2019
  • Seattle Hiking Committee
  • Day Hiking
  • Singles, Adults, 20-30 Somethings, Retired Rovers
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 6.9 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,000 ft

We will meet at 8:00 AM  at the East Sunset Way Trailhead

  • We're on Daylight Saving Time so try not to forget to set your clocks.
  • The parking lot is a bit small (I don't want us hogging the entire thing) so if the hike is sufficiently popular  we may change the starting location to allow more people to join us. If not, this parking lot is really convenient.

Permits: None!

(Updated as of 2019-03-02)

This will be a rather arbitrary route of the lowlands. We will visit both Round Lake and Tradition Lake as well as a good portion of the lowland trails due to us snaking around the lowlands.

The Winter storm is behind us and the snow/ice has been slowly melting.  The items listed below are suggested though not required since conditions have been improving.
