Meet at the High Point Way Trailhead at 9:30am and be geared up and ready to hike by 9:45am.  Discover Pass required to display in each vehicle at the trailhead.

**I will be carrying my 9 month old baby.  Although we hike frequently and she does great, please be patient if I need to check on her at some point during the hike**

This hike is part of our new hike category of CASUAL PACED HIKES.  Everyone is welcome.  We will only go as fast as the whole group can go.  If you are new to the Mountaineers, are getting back into hiking, or just want a slower-paced hike, this is for you!

We will hike along Tradition Lake, peeking at it through the trees and walk down to get a closer look.  We will also pass an abandoned school bus and a giant tree along the trail.  The trail is in great condition and is mostly level.  There is a brief downhill section that is fairly steep, but we can take it slow.  The rest of the trail is gradual.
