Just a few yards south of I-90, turn right (west) onto SE 79th St. The pavement ends in 0.4 miles, where you continue through a gate about 0.5 miles to the parking lot.
Participants are encouraged to connect with each other to arrange carpools. A Discover Pass is required for parking.
This is an easy 3 mile round trip hike. The pace will be slow to moderate. The hike is meant to be a introduction to hiking with the Mountaineers in the Pacific Northwest.
We will hike rain or shine, so good raingear, non-cotton layers, warm hat and gloves, and sturdy waterproof footwear with grippy soles are required.
