7:30 AM at Issaquah Park and Ride, I -90, Exit 15
This is a mentored hike with Lawrence Landauer. We will be taking the Tiger #3 trail up to its summit, then following the connector trail to the Tiger #2 summit, then down the backside of Tiger #2, through Tom’s Crossing and meeting up with the Tiger Mountain Trail. We will probably lunch on Tiger #3 because it has the best views, but please bring snacks for the rest of the day as we may stop again on Tiger #2 and at other points. When calculating the mileage on a Map I total up about seven miles. However, I have done this hike before, and my GPS clocked it in at about 10 miles. Bring appropriate gear for weather and no cotton clothing, please. This is a moderate paced hike and I intend it to be that way. If you are a very fast hiker, this is probably not the hike for you. Discovery pass needed.
