Day Hike - Thorp Lake & Mountain

This is a hike to the Thorp Mountain Lookout with great views . We plan to visit Thorp Lake on a side trail . This is an excellent wildflower hike .

Meeting place and time

We will meet at the trailhead , 8:00 am . From Seattle drive East on I-90 to take exit 80 (signed "Roslyn/Salmon La Sac" ) . Head North on Bullfrog Road , and at the roundabout Junction with State Route 903 , go left into Roslyn on SR 903 and continue through town and up the valley . At mile 13 (from the roundabout) , turn left onto French Cabin Road ( Forest Road 4308 ) Drive 3.25 miles up FR 4308 to FR 4312 on the right. Go right and drive 1.5 miles to another road junction with FR 4312-121 . The trail starts here , going right and down past a gate , you can see below. All roads are in good condition .
