Day Hike - The Stilly, Skagit & Samish

This is a birding trip that will be primarily done from cars. We plan to do stops in the Skagit and Samish valley, looking for geese, swans, and raptors. We might hike up to 2 miles but it will all be on fairly level ground.

Meet at 7:30 AM at the 145th street Park and Ride. This is just north of 145th street on 5 th Ave, right along interstate 5. 

Bring binoculars and if you have a spotting scope that will be helpful. Bring rain gear and where shoes that you feel comfortable walking in wet grass and a little mud. Bring a lunch. 

This is a naturalist hike and we will have frequent stops to look at birds and plants.

This will be an all day trip and we plan on leaving the Samish area around 5:30 PM.
