Day Hike - Taylor Mountain

Phase 2.5 after hours Conditioning hike. Raven (a dog) will be hiking with the group, please be comfortable hiking with dogs before signing up for this hike.

Meet at the Taylor Mountain trail head at 4:30 pm. I will send directions in the Hello Hiker. Bring your own dinner/snack.  This should be a good Fall hike with an abundance of Maple trees that should be in full color.    These trails are shared by hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians. The terrain is a variety of mix trail, broad and narrow, clear and shaded, dirt and loose rock surfaces.

We will be hiking at a moderate pace, 2 mph. Mileage of 5.5 with an elevation gain of 920 feet. Hiking up the Holder Ridge trail and onto the Whisky Still trail. Then backtrack Whisky Still and onto an old logging road to the Holder Knob trail to gain more elevation, eat dinner/snack, and cross your fingers for a possible view of Mount Rainier.
