Day Hike - Talapus Lake to Mason Lake and Ira Spring Trail
Using cars at both trailheads we will traverse the Talapus Lake to Ira Spring trails via Mason and Island Lakes. The trip should provide good wildflower displays as well as good views of and routes around alpine lakes. Beargrass along Bandera mountain is the cherry on top

Going between two established trails should give us a little seclusion between two heavily-traveled hikes for a weekend. The hike features forest wildflowers as well as more subalpine flowers along rockslides and lakes.
