July 10, Sun. – Surprise and Glacier Lakes (S) (GT Stevens Pass) NWFP 10 mi., 2600’ gain. Moderate to fast pace. Hike through old growth forest to two large lakes abutting granitic cliffs and scree slopes. Meet 7:30 a.m., west side of Brickyard P&R; (Exit 22 off I-405), 1.5 hrs.
