It's wild huckleberry season and this loop trail offers huckleberries PLUS wildflowers PLUS great views PLUS the site of an old lookout tower. This will be a leisurely hike with stops for photos, collaboratively identifying wildflowers, and huckleberry picking and eating. If time and berries permit, we may make huckleberry cobbler at the summit. The trail head is outside of Randle, Forest Road 23. The trail is a loop trail that travels both Sunrise Peak Trail and Juniper Ridge trail. Elevation gain is 1648'.
