Summerland is rarely like summer, but it is in late July. The flowers, wildlife and habitat diversity are bodaceous.

From forest to meadow to riparian habitat this hike aims to please. Gaze up the fryingpan glacier. See the fields of lilies, columbine and saxifrages and then head up above summerland to a moonlike landscape with roaring creeks and alpine flowers.
