Meet at 8AM at Enumclaw Ranger Station: 450    Roosevelt way, Enumclaw, WA 98022.

Mountaineers policy is to wait up to 15 minutes after meeting time for anyone who may be running late. Please call or text me if you will be any later  or cancel (Contact info. will be send to those who register in later time).

We will consolidate to reduce number of cars as the trail parking space is limited  on trailhead and this trail is popular.  It will take about an hour drive from Enumclaw Ranger Station to the trailhead (about 90 miles round trip). So if you are a rider, please bring some cash along to contribute towards gas money. Per mountaineers guide for carpooling, contributing $12-14 would be about right, but that is completely up to you and your driver.

Summerland is well maintained popular summer destination. It's about 2100 feet in gain and just over 4 miles one way. Along with beautiful wild flower meadows and peaks around, we might get lucky to see  resident black bear and goats in the area (from far).

This trail requires  National Park Pass as we will enter the Mt. Rainier National park from Sunrise/White River entrance.

Please see WTA description of this trail
