Still carrying some extra pounds from holiday feasting? Let's burn some calories, celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr., and enjoy each other's company on this short-ish dayhike to Stan's Overlook!

This is an easy+/moderate hike of 5 miles and 1,020' gain, and we'll keep a group pace of about 1.5 mph. If conditions are good we'll linger for a bit at Stan's Overlook with views of Mt. Si and the Snoqualmie Valley. Heavy snow will cancel.

Pack the 10 Essential Systems, a hearty lunch and traction devices (YakTrax, MicroSpikes, etc.). The preferred map is Green Trails 205S.

New Mountaineers members especially welcome!
