9am start for this conditioning day hike to the popular Bullitt Fireplace, loop over to Debbie's View and back down to the trailhead.

We will meet at 9am at the Squak Mountain State Park parking lot off of May Valley Road. A Discover Pass is required.
Be sure to turn into the paved parking lot, NOT the private dirt access road that goes up the mountain.
We will hike a loop up to the Bullitt Fireplace and cut over to Debbie's View for a good look at Mt Rainier. This trip has approximately 1600 feet of elevation gain.
This is a conditioning hike. We will try to maintain a steady pace averaging 2 to 2.5 mph with limited breaks. Plan to enjoy the trail, rain or shine.
Hiking poles will be helpful, especially if rain is in the forecast.
