  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 7.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,000 ft
  • Pace: Steady but Not Fast

Meet at Squak Mountain State Park at 9:00 AM.   Discover Pass Required.

This hike is open to all members; however, I will prioritize Tacoma Scrambling students if we get a waitlist.

This hike will not be a class conditioner.  It is oriented to those struggling to meet the conditioning standard or those that want an easier uphill day.

My dog Tilly will be joining us.  She is a friendly well-behaved German Shepherd.

If the weather isn't terrible, I plan to stay at the parking lot after to share a snack and get to know our new students.  This is not part of the official hike but bring snacks and beverages if you want to join me.
