Day Hike - Springwood Parcel City Park

Celebrate Mother's Day on this Rhododendron Hike and Tea party. Wander the flowering paths of this rhododendron garden, enjoying the wide range of plants. Stop for a Mother's Day tea party with honey tea and flower and fruit scones.This is a family hike---all adults must be registered with one or more children.

We will roam around the park, smelling and enjoying the diversity of flower types, looking for bees, and getting lost and found. At 2:00 we will spread a ground cloth out and sit in the grass for our tea party to celebrate motherhood.

Good multi-generational activity.

It will be cancelled if more rain than just a sprinkle!

We will meet at the entrance to the park at 1:00 and be done by 3:00, in time for other Mother's Day activities.

Dress for the weather.

Bring a ground cloth if you have one that you can put into a pack.
