Meet at 9:30 AM  at the Maple Valley McDonald's, 23225 Maple Valley Highway, reached from Renton eastbound on SR 169 and from Tacoma eastbound on SR 18, exiting at SE 231st St, eastbound and turning right at the Maple Valley Highway (SR 169).

We will caravan from McDonald's to the trailhead at the south end of W Spring Lake Dr. SE.  No parking pass is required, but parking space is limited, so carpooling is advised before you reach McDonald's.  This hike results from three King County Parks being combined into one trail system, permitting the exploring of a variety of scenic natural beauty.
