Day Hike - Sol Duc Campground

  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)

We are going to meet at the Burke Museum at 5:45 am. Wheels up at 6 am!

We will be breaking into three groups to do the three following hikes:

1. Sol Duc Loop (Easy)

2. Mink Lake (Medium) 

3. Deer Lake (Hard)

The beauty of Sol-Duc is the abundance of trailheads.  

Easy: Sol Duc Falls Loop 5.5 miles. (you can easily extend this hike) 

Medium:  Mink Lake/Little Divde 5.2-10.5 miles  1400 to 3000 feet of elevation gain. 

Hard: Deer Lake/Bogachiel Peak 7.4-16.2 miles 1650-3675 Feet of elevation gain.  

*Portions of the low divide between upper Mink Lake and Dear Lake could be snow covered.
