Most of this hike is in the forest...we will go through 3 power line openings with great views to Mt Rainier. We may not depart from the PCT to go to the top of Snowshoe Butte. This is an out and back trip-PCT miles are about 5 1/2-6. This hike is in the section of the PCT that Jay and I maintain, most of it has been logged out and there will only be a few trees to crawl over or go around. This trip is part of the PCT Challenge but is open to all members.
