  • Mileage: 8.2 mi

At least one carpool will leave from the Olympia-Lacey area.  We will depart at an early hour in part because the trailhead parking lot often runs out of space.  I will provide more details via email by 8:00 p.m. on September 15, 2014.

The Goat Rock Ridge Trail is free of snow.  So, we will be taking the Snowgrass Flat-Goat Ridge Loop Trail for a 13 mile round trip and a climb of 1900 feet in elevation, instead of the 8.2 mile in and out Snowgrass Trail.
