9:00 AM at Alpental Parking Lot (Snowqualmie Pass)
An unforgettable hike to a large dark blue alpine lake that sits beneath some of the most awesome mountain scenery in the State of Washington. We will have lunch at the shoreline where there is ample room for the kids to move around safely. This hike will be at an 9-12 year old pace (for both girls and boys), and we will take several breaks along the way. Our intention is to make this a rewarding and fun experience for the children and their families. There will be ample time to relax at the lake shore, and if there is a group consensus also explore the seldom visted close by little snow lakes. Note you must accompany a child in order to participate in this hike. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce your children to other kids and their families who enjoy hiking. Contact the leader, Erwin, at ErwinBuske@comcast.net if you have any questions.
