NOTICE: I HIKED THIS TRAIL ON SATURDAY, AND THE DOWNHILL PORTION TO THE LAKE IS COMPLETELY SNOWED IN. WE WILL NOT BE HIKING ANY FURTHER THAN THE RIDGE ABOVE THE SNOW COVERED LAKE, WHERE WE WILL ENJOY THE VIEW AND HAVE OUR LUNCH. Some minor snow on the way up to the ridge. Bring traction devices or poles if they will help you be more comfortable........This hike to a beautiful Alpine Lake overlook starts out from a trailhead at Alpental Ski Area up at Snoqualmie Pass. NW Forest Parking Permit required. Also, given the distance, carpooling may be of interest to you. FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE EMAILED TO THOSE WHO REGISTER. THIS IS A SLOW PACED HIKE. I WILL LEAD UP TO AND DOWN FROM THE RIDGE TO ENSURE THE PACE IS SLOW. If this is not acceptable to you stronger hikers, please select another hike.
