October 27, 2007, Sat. - Snoqualmie Tunnel (M) (GT Snoqualmie Pass #207) NWFP 9.0 mi, 700' gain. Moderate Pace. Meet 10:00 a.m. Annette Lake TH, exit 47, I-90. 1 hour. Flashlights / Headlamps / warm clothing req. for tunnel. John Faley, (206) 851-1932. (s10/20-10/26). Enjoy the 2.3-mile Snoqualmie Tunnel before it begins its six-month hibernation. One-half of this round trip hike will be in the tunnel, and is sure to get you into the Halloween spirit. In fact, some hikers wear masks or costumes on the Halloween weekend hike. We should finish the hike by 2:30 or 3:00, so you will have plenty of time to prepare for your Saturday night Halloween activities.
