Day Hike - Sleeping Beauty Peak
Come join me for a quick trip up Sleeping Beauty Trail to a former fire lookout and a destination on the Olympia Branch Lookout 12. This beauty is one of the more remote destinations on the list. If you are in the Trout Lake area on Sunday, feel free to join in the fun.

Meet at the Mount Adams Ranger District office 2455 WA-141, Trout Lake, WA at 5 PM on Sunday, June 10th.
I'll be Trout Lake over the weekend so this seems like the perfect opportunity to add this remote peak to the accomplishments list. The hike is short but steep, probably too short to make the trip all the way from Seattle for this alone. If you happen to be in the area and looking for something to do, here's an idea.
The trailhead is about a 30 minute drive from Trout Lake. I anticipate the hike and return trip to the parking lot to take about 3 hours. This means we would finish up around 8:30 pm or around sunset.
Weather looks like a slight chance of rain in the evening with overcast skies. Dress appropriately.
