Meet at 9:30 AM at the Enumclaw Ranger Station on Roosevelt Ave (SR 410).
After consolidating cars at the Enumclaw Ranger Station, we will caravan to the trailhead parking lot just west of SR 410, a short distance past Greenwater. Restrooms are at both the meeting place and the trailhead and at two intermediate spots on our driving route. Our easy and forested hiking route provides protection from the weather. Cars parked at the trailhead must display the Northwest Forest Pass or the equivalent. We customarily stop at Wapiti Woolies in Greenwater for huckleberry ice cream on the drive back from this hike.
