8:15-8:30 AM at Conway Shell station
MOUNTAINEER MEMBER PRIORITY SIGNUP THROUGH 1/25; NON-MEMBER SIGNUP OPENS 1/26. The pace will be leisurely to allow for enjoyment of birds and scenery, and to capture a few special photos. Time and interest permitting, we may also visit trumpeter swan sites in Skagit valley (tulip area) and Johnson / DeBay Swan Reserve. Bring binoculars, scope (I'll have one), bird field guides. Washington Dept Fish & Wildlife (DFW) access pass is required for each vehicle parking in Skagit state wildlife refuge areas. Most Fred Meyer and sporting goods stores sell the annual permit.
