7:30 AM at Maple Valley Park and Ride
Hike to a lookout with exceptional views. Meet at 7:30 am at Maple Valley P&R.; Directions from Seattle area: from I-405 in Renton take exit 4 onto Hwy 169 (toward Maple Valley). Drive 11 miles on Hwy 169. P&R; will be on your right. (If you pass a McDonalds on your right you've gone too far.) If you live south of Maple Valley, contact the leader for a more convient meeting place. The trailhead is eight miles south of Cayuse Pass in MRNP.
