9:00 AM at Parking lot across from White Pass ski area
Hike along the Pacific Crest Trail south of White Pass into the Goat Rocks Wilderness area. Flowers, views of the Goat Rocks and Mt Ranier as well as possible mountain goat sitings. The destination is a clear, high mountain lake. We will take a route up through the ski area to take a couple miles off the stated mileage along the PCT trail, so the hike will be about 12 miles round trip and still about 2800 (2200 in and 600 out) of elevation gain. Lots of great pictures so bring your cameras. Dave Larson, DaveNLarson@comcast.net, 206 409-8771
