This is a CHS 2 hike. This is part of the Conditioning Hiking Series do not sign up for this hike unless you are doing this course. CHS2 Graduation Hike September 20 Leaders Christine Pratt/Michale Kelly High Divide/Seven Lakes Basin 19 miles 4000 elevation gain Olympic Nat. Park The High Divide Loop begins on the Sol Duc Falls trail and climbs to one of the most spectacular alpine vistas in the NW. It is a classic Olympic Peninsula forest-to-alpine trek. The trail passes many picturesque lakes to gain the ridge views of Mt. Olympus and the Bailey Range. Given this is mid September and the days are shorter, we plan to be at the trailhead Saturday morning before sunrise.Lodging is planned in a private rental (Cozy House II).
