Day Hike - Sequalitchew Canyon & Edmond Marsh

Late afternoon/evening hike to enjoy an interesting and historic urban trail from near the Dupont Civic Center to a waterfront beach.

  • Pace: 1.5 - 2.0 mph

We will make a leisurely exploration of this interesting trail, stopping to read interpretive signs and admire forest flora before reaching the beach where we can explore and take in the views.  This trail is all downhill through a forested ravine to the beach so our return will be uphill to reach the parking area near the DuPont City Hall.  No parking pass required. Participants are invited to bring a picnic dinner or snack to enjoy on the gravel beach.  In the event of heavy rain or wind, this hike will be rescheduled.  

Registered participants will receive an email detailing meeting time and place.
