Meet at the Martin Way Park and Ride at 1:00 PM.  We will leave from there heading to the museum which is 15 minutes away.  We will spend approximately 30 minutes at the museum, learning about the history of the DuPont explosives factory and the Hudson Bay Company.  We will then head to the trailhead for an easy descent along the trail, down the creek canyon to the beach area where we will spend some time playing on the gravel beach, exploring the remains of the explosives factory, and have a snack.

This is a family hike.  All adults should accompany a child for this hike.  If this hike isn't full with families 3 days prior to the hike,  adults without children may sign up. No permits or passes required. Maps provided at Park and Ride. A donation to the Museum is welcomed.
