Day Hike - Sauk Mountain
We will not be going to Sauk Mountain; rather, we will be hiking along the North Fork of the Sauk River to the Mackinaw Shelter, approximately 11 miles and 2000 feet in elevation gain.

This is a wonderful trail through old growth forest. Afterwards, we will head to that thriving metropolis, Granite Falls where we will enjoy a meal in a bar (sorry, I forgot the name) where the food is surprisingly good.
