Sept., Sat. - Royal Basin (S) 14 mi. rt. Gain 2,600 ft. (USGS Gray Wolf & Dosewallips, GT 136 Tyler Peak) Explore a challenging trail that climbs from the upper Dungeness to high meadows and an alpine lake surrounded by some of the tallest peaks in the Olympics. Hikers will find adventurous creek crossings and some steep and rough trail. Leader permission required. Let me know what hikes you've been doing.
