Day Hike - Rattlesnake Mountain Grand Traverse

Let's hike the Rattlesnake Traverse, starting at the Rattlesnake Lake TH!

  • Strenuous
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 12.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,600 ft
  • Pace: 2 mph

Meet at the Snoqualmie Point TH at 8:00 a.m.   From there, we'll shuttle to the Rattlesnake Lake TH, to start our one-way traverse to the Snoqualmie Point TH.  Upon finishing the hike, we'll need one car to take drivers to retrieve cars left at the Rattlesnake Lake TH.   Please be flexible, and offer assistance with the shuttle  if needed.

This is a long strenuous hike.    Please be conditioned to do this amount of gain and distance comfortably, at a steady moderate pace.   Anticipate a long day, especially with the extra time needed for the shuttle.   A Discover Pass is required at both trailheads.

Poles, microspikes (no yaktraks), and a headlamp are required!  If the weather forecast is bad, the destination will be changed to a shorter hike, most likely on Tiger Mtn.

An email will be sent 2 days prior to the hike with more details.
