Day Hike - Rattlesnake Mountain, East Peak
Ho Ho Ho challenging hike, likely 6-10" new snow, microspikes required. We will go at least as far as Grand Prospect-9.8 mile RT and if time and energy allow continue to East Peak-13.4 mile RT. Great views across to Si and Teneriffe and a great work-out.

8:00 AM at the West TH for Rattlesnake Ridge. I-90 /exit 27, then turn right.
Covid-19. We will follow all the Mountaineers' protocol for safe travel, including all participants are to bring cloth face masks and hand sanitizer. Masks must be worn when within 6' of others on the trail, at the trailhead and at stops along the way.
Note: This is a challenging hike. Please consider if you can complete a 13.4 mile hike, ascend 2420 feet and are comfortable hiking in snow part of the way. Microspikes or equivalent and trekking poles are required. This hike is weather dependent and may be cancelled or changed if weather is adverse to safety or enjoyment. This trip will date has been moved and now will be on 12/24--this is Christmas Eve. day.
