For Basic Wilderness Travel Course students sign-up only. A relatively short, slightly steep hike to stretch the legs and test out your gear, with the rewards including views to Mount Si, Chester Morse Lake, Cedar Butte, and Rattlesnake Lake. Optional items you might want to bring: binoculars, camera, trekking poles. (Don't worry if you don't have these, you'll be fine without them.)
