We will meet at 8am at the Rattlesnake Ledge trailhead on the northwest side of Rattlesnake Lake. Be advised that the parking lot is on the northeast side of the lake and it's about a five minute walk to the trailhead. Give yourself plenty of time to park, get ready, and walk around to the other side of the lake by 8am. Discover Pass required for parking

After being closed all winter the Rattlesnake Ledge trail is finally open! Come enjoy a nice brisk hike up to a stunning viewpoint (if the weather cooperates). Please make sure you are capable of doing about 2 mph up a steep trail, and about 3 mph back down. We will plan to hike to the first main ledge, and then depending on weather and group consensus, we can also hike to the higher ledge as well. Please keep an eye on the forecast and plan accordingly. Bring the 10-essential and plan to wear a mask when in groups or passing other hikers (even if you are vaccinated).
