Day Hike - Rattlesnake Dance Ridge Trail
Wide open views and spring flowers after winding through a little of Yakima Canyon...what's not to like? Particularly if it's still rainy in Seattle. Pace will be slow to take in the views and discuss the plants and birds, maybe some geology

Meet at the Flying J Travel stop at I-90 Exit 109 for Canyon Road at 9 am, We will caravan from there as the parking area is small and unmarked (no restroom facilities).
This is a Naturalist trip, hence the comments about pace and stops, in the expectation of a classic display of Eastern Washington spring vegetation. My "challenging" designation is related to the fact that it is an unrelenting climb up a nose of Manastash ridge until you top out on a long ridgeline, and very hard on the knees on descent. But, oh, the views!
Bring binoculars, and a loupe if you have one.
