BWT Meany Lodge Weekend hike for 2005 students . This is an outstanding route with glorious alpine scenery en route to a large jewel like lake set in a mountain bowl under Rampart ridge. Trail passes several fine waterfalls and crosses some creeks. Lower trail is gentle but the final 1.3 miles are very steep and rough. Early season wildflowers will be in peak form. Poles or a hiking stick recommended for creek crossing and steep downhill. Bugs are probable, be prepared! Map is Green Trails Snoqualmie Pass #207. Guide
