This is a perfect hike for guests and new members but anyone else can join. This is a moderate hike (8 miles over 1,900 ft elevation gain). This hike is one of the best hikes in Washington in terms of views. Many hikers think that Rachel Lake is one of the most beautiful alpine lake in Washington. More about Rachel Lake:

In front of Starbucks Coffee at QFC parking lot in Issaquah (Exit 15) DIRECTIONS From I-90 East take exit 15. At the first traffic light turn RIGHT, then on the next traffic light turn LEFT and very shortly after that turn LEFT to enter QFC parking lot. As you enter parking lot turn first RIGHT and drive straight to Starbucks Coffee. I am coming from Belltown so if somebody is interested in carpooling with me you should be in Belltown at 7:20 am. Also if somebody needs pick up at Mercer Island P&R; I can do it at 7:35 am. Please let me know in advance so that I can plan accordingly.
