6pm at Ross Park Playground
This trip is actually ~7 miles, ~1100' elevation gain/loss and should take ~4 hours which includes time for dinner. Here are the details: Starting at 6pm from the Ross Park Playground (NW 44th Street and 3rd Avenue NW) head south to follow the Burke Gilman trail along the ship canal to reach the Fremont Canal Park. From Fremont we'll ascend the north side of Queen Anne to reach dinner near the Seattle Center via Bhy Kracke Park. After dinner we'll re-ascend Queen Anne to Kerry Park and Highland Drive with sweeping views of downtown, Mount Rainier, Elliot Bay, and the Olympics. We'll finish by making our way back to Fremont and Ross Playground.
