Day Hike - Pyramid Mountain

Combination bike-hike. We will bike 6 miles along the paved Olympic Discovery Trail along the north shore of Crescent lake to the trailhead. The hiking trail is 7 miles round-trip with 2400 feet of gain. One section of the trail requires careful footwork, so bring a trekking pole. From the summit, experience gorgeous views of Lake Crescent, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and the Olympic Mountains.

You must bring a bike. The bike path is paved and level so a regular street bike is fine. Parking at the trailhead is very limited. You must carpool (at least two people and two bikes per car). Bring a sturdy bike lock as we will be stashing the bikes at the beginning of the hiking trail.

Spruce Railroad Trailhead, East Beach Road, 8:00 am.
