Meet at the trailhead at 10 a.m. Hope to be hiking by 10:20. Drive US 101 west from Port Angeles to the west end of Lake Crescent. Turn right on the road signed "Fairholm Campground". Drive 3.2 miles to the parking lot.
We will be crossing an old slide area about 2 miles in and poles are recommended for that. Sturdy hiking boots should be worn. There are great views of the lake and the mountains beyond from the top.
