I will be doing this hike as a moderate 8 mile, 2300 ft gain outing to the Pratt Lake Basin as described in the Mountaineers' Snoqualmie Region hiking guide.  This hike shares a trailhead with Granite Mountain, but splits off after a mile.  It does not have Granite Mountain's dramatic scenery or glamour, but it does have waterfalls, boardwalks, lovely forest scenery, and a fraction of the foot traffic.  We will hike at a moderate pace, but stop for a little huckleberry picking if we find some good patches.
